Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Human Brand Firm LLC, doing business as Spotter Goods (“Spotter,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit spottergoods.com, buy from us, or get our emails and texts (the “Services”). It applies to people in the United States. By using the Services you acknowledge this policy. Our Terms & Conditions also apply.
What we collect
We collect the information below. We don’t intentionally collect Social Security numbers, government IDs, or precise location.

Cookies & pixels
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar tools. Some are needed for the site to work (like your cart). Some measure traffic, such as Google Analytics. Some let ad platforms, such as Meta and TikTok, show you our ads on other sites and measure whether they worked.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may stop working. To opt out of ad cookies, use the “Your Privacy Choices” link in our footer or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser (see “We don’t sell your data”).
How we use it
We use personal information to: process and ship orders and subscriptions; take payment and prevent fraud; answer questions and handle returns; send order updates; send marketing emails and texts if you opted in; show you relevant ads; understand and improve our products and site; run promotions and reviews; and comply with the law and enforce our Terms.
Who we share it with
We share personal information with service providers who work for us and may use it only to do that work, including: our store and payment platform (Shopify); our email and text tool (such as Klaviyo); our fulfillment partner, which packs and ships orders from China; shipping carriers; subscription and review apps; analytics and ad partners (such as Google, Meta, and TikTok); and customer-support tools.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or anyone’s safety, or as part of a merger, sale, or transfer of our business.
We don't sell your data
We don’t sell personal information for money. However, when ad partners use cookies and pixels on our site to show you ads elsewhere, some state laws treat that as “selling” or “sharing” personal information, or as “targeted advertising.”
You can opt out at any time with the “Your Privacy Choices” link in our footer. We also treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a valid opt-out for that browser. We don’t knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Emails & texts
If you sign up for emails, we’ll send you news and offers until you unsubscribe using the link in any email. If you sign up for texts, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing texts at the number you gave us. Consent isn’t a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. We don’t share your phone number with anyone for their own marketing. We’ll still send messages about your orders.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: know what personal information we have about you and how we use it; get a copy of it; correct it; delete it; and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your information and of targeted advertising. We extend these rights to all US customers, wherever they live. We won’t charge you more, give you worse service, or deny you anything because you used these rights.
How to ask
To make a request, email hello@spottergoods.com with the subject “Privacy request” and tell us what you’d like. We’ll confirm we got it within 10 business days and respond within 45 days (we may extend this by another 45 days if needed, and we’ll tell you). To protect you, we’ll verify your identity, usually by matching your email and order details. You can have an authorized agent make a request for you, with your signed permission. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer; we’ll respond within 60 days.
California residents
In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information listed in “What we collect” (identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, approximate location, and inferences) from the sources listed there, for the purposes listed in “How we use it.” We disclosed identifiers and commercial information to the service providers listed in “Who we share it with,” and we “shared” identifiers, internet activity, and inferences with ad partners for targeted advertising. We don’t use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
Notice of financial incentive: when you join our email list, we give you 10% off your first order. We think your email is worth about what we give — the discount — based on what we expect to earn from subscribers minus our costs. Joining is optional, you can cancel any time by unsubscribing, and the code stays valid for your first order.
Skin & health info
Some things you share, like skin concerns in a product quiz or a review, could reveal health-related information. We collect it only if you choose to give it, with your consent, and use it only to recommend products or show your review. We don’t sell it or use it for ads. You can withdraw consent and ask us to delete it at any time by emailing us. Residents of Washington, Nevada, and Connecticut may have additional rights over consumer health data, which you can use the same way.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy — for example, order records for as long as tax and accounting laws require (usually up to 7 years), and marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Then we delete or anonymize it.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, such as encrypted checkout and limited access, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects you, we’ll tell you as the law requires.
Kids
The Services are for people 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Data outside the US
Our fulfillment partner packs and ships orders from China. To deliver your order, we send them your name, shipping address, phone number, and the items you bought. They may use it only to fulfill and ship your order. Some of our other service providers may also store data outside the US. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from US law, and we require our partners to protect your information.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date. If we make material changes, we’ll let you know on our site or by email before they take effect.
